Officers sash colors in Ireland

Does anyone have any info on the color of the Irish and Willamite officers' sashes? I am assuming the Dutch wore orange, but what about the English?

Thanks

Re: Danes in Ireland - Pikes or Not?

Well, this info rom the "Danish Bayonet" website seems ot answer my own question:

In 1688 "Den Danske Livgarde" was parading King Christian V. They where equipped with muskets and bayonets.
According to Royal Order 1st September 1688 all pikes should be replaced by muskets with bayonets

Danes in Ireland - Pikes or Not?

Vaupel says that the Danes carried pikes until the end of the century. Danaher and Simms state that the pike was given up in 1689. Any other views on this?

JamesII Irish Footguards Uniforms

I just received my first order of Warfare Miniatures and the look great! My first regiment will be the James's Footguards. From what I can tell, the coats are red with blue facings with blue stockings. Buttons are yellow metal. What would be the hat lace of the enlisted men? Does anyone know for sur...

Re: 28mm unit sizes for WSS

Ebor,

Any chance you will do the Great Northern War? Your WSS figures will work for Saxons, and even for some Russians. The Swedes would need to be different. Danes could be used for both WSS and GNW.

Re: BLB 2 QRS

I just check my copy and the page with movement, etc. Is making as well. Got mine through On Military Matters in the U.S.

Any suggestions on how I could get the missing page?

Flags

Two questions: I seem to recall you said that there would be range of flags for these figures. Any news on that?

Second: would either William's or James's army infantry colors have tassels attached to the staff?

Thanks

Re: Sneak peek at some new sculpts

Wonderful! I hope Clib sculpts a lance for the standard bearer. This would make the command set perfect. It would be much better for this great figure to be seen carrying a standard on a lance rather than on piece of wire. Either way, though, I will be buying them.

I think that a while back you said that you were also going to have "French" infantry. Is that still in the plan?

I will be riding all three waves.

Re: BtLBv2 - Visual, game and rule effects with modified uni

I am thinking about basing my new Warfare figures (when I get them!) on three 60mm square bases, with two lines of four figures on a base and the pikes in the middle base. Will probably put a drummer and nco behind the two lines, still on the base. I am thinking about some free standing offcers to l...
