No Dave you didn't miss me, I was going to come across for a quick chat. But you were otherwise engaged, I was only there for half the day as I had too leave early, so time was at a premium. Sorry, but hopefully I will catch up with you at Skelp? :)

Thanks for asking though

Same here, wab is ace! No one in my group would even attempt that. And the rules /lists make you really field core troops, as per the new warhammer. Makes for a very well balanced game. :P

Cheers Rene, nice to hear other people opinions. On that topic Barry, maybe you could include a extra set of optional rules. So if you go for turn based give an option for sim movement etc. That way you are catering for more tastes. Sometimes people by rule sets for only particular parts and adopt o...

Hi Barry. Plenty dice for me , but not hundreds. WAB/WARHAMMER are prime examples and have sold more copies than probably all the rest put together :) Regards simultaneous movement, a big no no! My experience of these type of rules brings out the worst in gamers. Wait and see moves, sorry I never to...

Well done guys, the brief glimpse I got of the table, the terrain was outstanding! Loved the new location, although I did go the wrong way in Falkirk, but ended up in the same place  Plenty of room for expansion. Do agree with you Barry, there was acres of space for the painting competition, ...

Totally agree with Liam, Falkirk is certainly the better of the two shows. I believe that the Edinburgh club have no major funds to help and find a new venue. This will hinder an already difficult task as it is! I will look on the positive side, this maybe the impetus for the club to find a new venu...

Highland regiments were always up for a "rammey" and after 1745. best place for them was overseas, kicking someone else's arse, rather than the English. Lowland regiments being more loyal to Englarrdlland were better employed, looking after said highland gentlemen crofts etc. above. Hence historical...
