New topic option

Barry, et.al,

Has it ever been suggested to add a Painting Tips and Tricks area to the What are You Working On board? I know I could always benefit from others expertise. Thoughts?

Re: Pikes for Warfare Miniatures

In the states you can go to Ace Hardware and get thin brass rods that you cut to size and dremmel a tip onto. But all of the flag poles on my Palatinate troops are Northstar pikes cut to length. So yes they do fit, and as was pointed out pointy sharp. (ouch)

Re: Palatinate Army progress

Third reg't of horse for the Palatinate, this time Hahn Dragoons. The bases are dont but I haven't had time to get a picture done. The flag is completely conjectoral, but I needed something. :) http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc6/176692_10151113415557134_1053709559_o.jpg Next picture will be ...

Re: Historicon 2013 ALL CHANGE!

Gavin and I have airline tickets all set for the Convention. I think he plans to run his Nap rules and or ACW version of same rules. I'm just going to hang out. :)

I know not Palatine but these are the latest I've completed.

Danish Jyske.

I will swap out the flags when I get some new ones. I made up 2 of them just to have something on the pikes.

Thx, Joe

Re: Unknown flags, information?

Found an OOB (auf Deutsch) for Imperial forces. Interesting to note it lists all horse unless dragoon as cuirassier. I knew they had them, but all the horse? Doubtful in BLB they would all be treated as such.

Re: Unknown flags, information?

Thank you sirs. I knew I came to the right place :) I found the flags from a link on a blog. It is frustrating to me now because I didnt save the link and I cannot find the blog or link anymore. It was only 3 pages of flags. I will research the units to paint up and add to my Palatine army. So if an...

Unknown flags, information?

Here are a couple unknown flags captured by the French @ Speyer in 1703. It was mainly a Hesse-Kassel/Palatinate affair so that's a start. If you are in the know I would like to know too. :) http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8480/8184048249_dc636be22a_n.jpg Horse, I have no clue http://farm9.staticflick...
