Hi,
great show today. Nice to catch up with everyone.

Always makes me want to start something new.

And congrats to Peter McCarroll for a well deserved win in the painting comp.

Yup Gary, great to see you! and the rest of the crew. Peter did fantastic and a well deserved win with the ironic Cumberland Hussars... more success and glory at Carronade than at Waterloo

Enjoyed talking and swapping ideas.. Carronade has become a very good show on the Scottish calendar.

And by the way Clarence.... VWQ was alive and well in Falkirk. The Iron Brigade (Kev and Peter) were playing a lovely ECW game with your rules 8)

Another very enjoyable show for me and frankly just the right size of show. Big enough to have good variety of games and traders but small enough that you don't have to fight your way through throngs of people at the B&B, food and traders stands.

Great to see everyone again. Our VWQ ECW game (Clarence I think we should be on commission for your rules when you publish them!)attracted some really nice comments, especially about Kevin's new windmill and beautiful dismounted dragoons.

We were fortunate enough to be positioned beside the 28mm Vietnam game. I was very impressed by their terrain and aircraft stands for their Corgi Hueys and Cobras which I know from experience is a challenge to get right. It was a beautiful game and IMHO deserved the best display trophy (which they won). Lots of inspirational games from the eclectic to the mainstream , all good adverts for the hobby.

Perhaps it was because the fantasy / SF games were upstairs but I definitely thought there were fewer kids this year. A lot of portly guys in their forties, fifties and sixties but a noticeable lack of youth.

A good variety of traders although my own purchases were smaller than in previous years. Martin's product range at Warbases has expanded to include things like SAGA range sticks and casualty counters so go a few pounds from me.

The new Bring and Buy worked for me. I had barely unpacked my wares when the vultures swooped and bought up most of my stuff. I was very satisfied with my sales.

My thanks to the Falkirk club who do a great job or organising the show.
