difficulty joining

Post by dhtandco » Sat Aug 18, 2012 11:32 pm

Hi All finally got registered, main problem was the anti robot questions asked
either
how many editions of rules issued-
no idea dont play that period except using black powder

or name the president of the US
easy
not !!!President Obama or Barack Obama or just Obama or any variation on these????? Maybe Im thick but I found the whole procedure frustrating why not a simple question Like the Capital of Scotland or England?
Sorry to enter with a moan but I thought it was constructive criticism and now Im in I really like the content

dhtandco welcome, this is a friendly forum so I am sure you'll fit in well. Re: topic, eminently sensible but it does not take into account the back story of keeping this forum secure. It has been spammed, hacked and attacked numerous times. Hugely time consuming for me and the forum tech. It now operates on the following principle....

The more you sweat in peace, the less you sweat in war..

If people go the extra 30 seconds to want to join then they are the kind of people who are very welcome!
