Ha! I broke the news earlier on my blog after the back and forth this morning so some of those followers came from my site.

I will join Barry in asking everyone to come join the site and join in with comments. Audience participation is one of the things that drives a blog and let's us know that it's worth the effort. There will be articles on history, painting, wargaming, as well as news for Warfare, Wordtwister, and Adrian's Walls. You will still be able to get all the news here as well... The LoA blog is not meant as a replacement for any of our sites, but you will find unique content there that won't be posted elsewhere.

To further involve the community will accept submissions from guest authors after we get up and running in earnest. Even if you have your own blogs or websites, I urge you to consider a post for the LoA site... You will be able to plug your site in the process!

Anyway, we are excited about the launch. The first series of posts will be by Barry on gaming the Glorious Revolution, a look at David O'Brien's Donnybrook forces, and a painting series by Quindia Studios...

OK, I am here (the Blog), typed a little salutation but it's my first blog post; yes ever! :P

Wot means it "select der profile"? I have none of those affiliations offered. Even "OpenID" is unknown to us. Should I select it?

Been online since the late 80s but I confess to not, at all, having kept up on all the "baubles & bling" over last decade-plus. Was very happily pegging away with XP through XP3 until last November when my faithful Dell gave up the ghost. Was catapulted from XP3 into the Twilight Zone of Windows 8 in less than 12 hours. :? (="Shock & Awe")

We Left-Coasters tend to move at a pace, any assistance with my "maiden blog posting" gratefully received.

Cheers,

Michael

I changed the comments permissions to allow people to add comments without signing in, but we won't know who you are so sign your comment at the end!

Thanks Clarence I have been bloging and following Blogs quite a bit but that limitations on comments stops me doing so most of the time which is why I tend to repost teasers to blogs I find interesting on my friends general gaming forum The Big Bang Burger Bar....

http://www.bigbangburgerbar.co.uk/Forum/

indeed I have done so with the League of Augsburg blog

I have pasted the salutation (signed as above) at the blog which I attempted to send yesterday.

I am now getting: "Subscribe to this feed using Live Bookmarks"

Must I do so in order for my comments to be posted and read? :|

Michael,
may be you have to create a google account or such thing because I could place my comment quite easely. Sure it works over 3 pages until it is published but I think the ensurance that you are no robot is Ok.
Hope that helps,
Günter
