Mons 1914 - fancy rewriting history?

Post by Eugenio von Savoy » Wed Nov 19, 2014 8:58 pm

Hi all,

If anyone is in the Mansfield area in January 2015 you might be interested in knowing that the 'Like a stone wall' Wargames Group will be wheeling out their very large and double prize winning demonstration game The Assault on the Mons Salient 1914.

The game will feature part of the town of Mons, the defence of the Conde-Mons canal and the final German advance from the east late on 24 September 1914. It won best of show at the Sheffield Triples in 2013 and won at the World Wargames Championships in October 2014
All in glorious 28mm.

The game will be hosted in the large games room at Slayer Games on Saturday 10 January 2015.
