Bodkins First Outing at Partizan: Berne, Baby Berne!

Post by Atheling » Mon Sep 07, 2015 7:24 pm

This was the first puting of our new Late Medieval Demo Game Group that consists of Matthew Bickley, Dave Andrews, David Imrie, Simon Chick, Andrew Taylor and myself.

I cannot claim credit for the painting of any of the miniatures as they were painted up by Dave Andrews, David Imrie, Simon Chick and an unknown (the Burgundian Command Vignette)!

The game, Berne, Baby Berne!, a Swiss and Burgundian fight, was certainly one if not the best demo that I have seen in person. I was going to post this in the gaming section but after a ittle thought I reckon it would be a great injustice to the game not to post it here!

The mini's were painted by Dave Andrews, Simon Chick and David Imrie- I got a free run on this game and didn't paint up a single mini so I count myself as lucky to belong to such a brilliant Late Med. Demo gaming group! Kudos to all the painters who's talents at converting, sculpting and painting made the game what it was; beautiful!

You can see more pics (there are a hell of a lot of them!) on my Gewalthaufen Blog:

And Simon Chick's Je Ley Emprin Blog (pics to be added soon!):

Superb looking game, as I thought it would be.
Really gutted to have missed it and the rest of the show but looking forward to the new venue next year.
Cheers

It really was superb David- I'd go so far as to say that it's the best game I've ever seen and certainly the best I've played in! :)
