War & Peace

Post by Hanni » Tue Nov 03, 2015 4:05 pm

For those that are interested (and don't already know), the BBC has re-done 'War & Peace' as a 6 part TV series. It is due to be screened next year. From memory there were quite a few battle scenes in both the original book and TV series so might be quite interesting to see how they've been done and how accurately.

Looks pretty good for a TV production, battles don't look huge, but that's to be expected. I really like the music.

I saw the one man theatre company do war and peace at the Edinburgh Fringe a few years ago. His battle scenes were quite small.
The following year he did the charge of the light brigade.
