My projects for 2016 include :

a. Continuing to build two 10mm Seven Years War armies for the
Western Theatre. These will mainly be Prussian and French
respectively but each will also include some colouful allies. I'm a
good way through the Prussian army (only 10 Battalions to go !).

Some of the Prussian Cavalry :

Some more pics here :

b. Epic 6mm Dark Eldar. Some of the troop transports :

c. Gazing in awe at some 10mm League of Augsburg figures and
planning a Dutch army.

Paul : Very impressed by your table building project and would be interested to see some pics. Do you have any issues with reaching the centre of a 6 foot wide table ?

Cheers,

40mm stuff, not decided on what, so painting various samples. ACW or AWI or Napoleonics or War of 1812 or maybe creating my own. I always fancied doing NWF/Colonial in 40mm, but I also like having some kind of positive bank balance too!

Hi Phil, I'm travelling at the moment but I will try and get some pics up in about 2 weeks time.

I got a local carpenter to build three tables of 6 foot by 4 foot, and one table of 6 foot by 2 foot. Gives a max size table of 14 by 6 plus lots of other combos. It has worked out very well.

The 6 foot width is fine. The Derby Weekender games convinced me of that, except watch for Pike stands at the edge of the table. Cheers.
