Post by Bitbag » Sun Oct 18, 2015 1:01 pm

Hi all!
Just to let people know that my Donnybrook ECW project is far from expired, and has progressed nicely in recent months. To start sharing the work of the last few weeks, I've updated my blog.....first post since January, mind you....

In the latest post, there are details about the completion of Major Hawkins' company of musketeers, for my New Model Army faction. Over the next few weeks, I'll share the rest of the project, including terrain for the game, my Scots Covenanters, the first outing for the game at the recent Partizan show in September, and plans for NEXT year!

Best wishes,
Andy

Donnybrook ECW 'Somewhere in Scotland, 1650' - 16/4/16

Post by Bitbag » Sat Apr 16, 2016 7:48 pm

Hi all

Just to let you know that things continue apace with work on 'Somewhere in Scotland, 1650', which our informal group the RAW Gamers are putting on at the Partizan Show this year on 22nd May.

Updates on the project - a skirmish game set in Scotland around the time of the Dunbar campaign, and using 'Donnybrook' rules - are to be found here on the blog:

Hope you enjoy what you find, and pop by at Newark to say hello if you're there!

Just a teaser:

Until next time, thanks for looking and for the continued support and kind comments!

Best wishes

I've just had a look at the ECW figures on your blog. You should be very proud of the finished results - beautifully painted with some really evocative colour schemes. The full description of colours used is also very welcome.

A lot of hard work but with inspirational results - well done.
