Post by 14th Brooklyn » Mon Jan 21, 2013 6:18 pm

Just posted pictures of my new SAGA warband on my blog:

Seven points worth of Byzantines plus Warlord.

Enjoy,

Burkhard

Bravo Burkhard!

They look fantastic. It seems that painting Prussians didn't have negative side effects on painting other timelines :D

Danke Günter.

Actually I was great to paint something different for a change. Now it is back to Napoleonics (right now French Légère, followed by Prussian Greandiers).

Cheers,

The look good.

Have you given the Byzantines a run out using Saga yet? Played against them once using my Scots, the Byzantines seem a rather difficult board to get the best out of.

Be interested to hear your experiences with them.

Cheers

Bill.

Thank you guys! Just like with the other topic I missed your replys so I am a bit late getting back to you.

@ BP: Played them for the first time last weekend. They did not play as I had expected (I was hoping for more from the Heathguards and for less from the Warriors). So far I only got to make miniml use of the Battleboard, but what I used was quiet good. I think they have imense potnetial.

One thing I noticed, is that with every expansion (or in this case new faction published in a magazine) they get more elaborate on the rules and abilities. Reading through some in "The Ravens Shadow" I would daresay that they will take some effort even for experienced player to play right.

Cheers,

Burkhard
