15mm Beneath the banners

OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

Latest pics

Post by Dilly » Wed Dec 15, 2010 10:00 am

Just posted pics of the last "proper" units of my Irish Jacobite army, just some mounted officers and some figures to represent dismounted dragoons to go, the units completed are Gordon O'Neills Foote Regiment, and a combined grenadiers unit, these make the total size of the army 3 horse, 3 dragoons, 10 foot and 4 guns , was wondering about doing a small British force of 8 units, 2 horse, 4 Highlanders and 2 loyal regts of foot for "what if" scenarios, I would welcome your thoughts.

Here's the proper pic of the Costa Cavalry regt, at the moment I only have one flag for these as I ordered the wrong one from Maverick Models, this will be rectified when I'm ready to put another order in with Stuart.
Hope you like them
