Start of a new project.

OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

Nicely done; good luck with the rest. I go to Derby every year and will look out for your game. As an observation I notice you use a glue gun and bits of corrugated card as temporary bases. I started with that system but found the bits of card went all wobbly and hard to grip after a very short time. Now I use scored plastic milk bottle tops which is much easier. Hope this helps.

Wow! Those look great, Churchill! Can't wait to see them all based up!

Subtle shading on the horses, and great colour choices! :D

Might be a bit of doubt as to who painted them now I imagine.

Fine then you didn't need Bob to do The 17 Squadrons of cavalry anyway then did you.
As for your information the full commission wasn't finished and Bob has recently e-mailed me to paint the 17 squadrons of WSS British Cavalry for me, but now I will have to e-mail him back to tell him that due to you not being able to mind your own business, he has now lost this commission.I hope you are now happy with yourself and we can leave this now.

Nice a quick and yet childish reply.

Have you no idea what other people on this forum think of you now?

Ray,

These look highly animated and convey the sense of a charge beautifully. I can't wait to see the finished regiment in all its glory.
