So Salzburg (Austrian Salute in Oberndorf) or Munich (have to see what I can organize this year, system is just starting here) may be an option to play a bigger game.

Out of curiosity I took two shots of the 18 Batteries, formed up in a gun line, almost 12 foot long (3,24m)
I have to imagine that in 1870 the number of the guns stayed the same as to be seen here
Cheers,
Günter

Dear Friends,
As I can not find a more pleasent way to say it I do it in the most straight way:
I can't come to Salute this Year because I was simply TOO LATE!
Got it confirmed a few days ago from "Big Jm" of Warlords.
My apology to all who wanted to see my collection there.
Maybe 2016!
Regards,
Günter

Said news indeed, Günter, but perhaps in 2016 your new Russian division will be available to accompany your Saxons? Always look on the bright side!

Bryce,
I am telling me that myself. It will also allow me to save money for the first FPW Saxon units.
Thanks for your Comment.

Dear Friends,
Currently about half of the above shown Artillery Limbers and Caisson have now Train Drivers attached and the next 54 are already with Artmaster. They are to be finished in the next weeks as they will receive the first FPW Figures to paint.
Next will be Pictures with the finished Artillery Park.
Cheers,
Günter

Yesterday I received the following two prictures that shows the rest of the Saxon Artillery Drivers and the Artillery Regiment Commander. Figures are from Steve Barber, painted by Artmaster Studio
This finishes the Train of the Saxon Napoleonic Army.

I believe that this picture of my "Field Army" was not shown here so far...
It was taken on my gaming table at home and shows the complete Formation with all Field Formations therefore only 8 Foot Batteries, 2 Horse Batteries and the 8 Regimental Batteries are in place.
If someone like to know what is displayed here I will be happy to provide Informations.
Cheers,
Günter

Dear Friends,
Today I received the Wargames Illustrated Issue 330. I was full of expectation as it contains my article about this Saxon Army I created over the last Years.
Six pages full of Colour Pictures placed within the story of how this great project was realized.
I want here to thank You all who followed this Thread over the last Years.
My Thanks goes also to Barry and his perfect style of photographing my Boys which made it finally possible to print them in WI 330 in all their splendour!
Thank You All for your Support.
Best Wishes,
Günter
