Russians so far.

OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

This is a ragtag collection, the first unit was painted a year and a half ago, and is in a totaly diffrent style then my current stuff, the first painted jegers, are plane and undetailed compeard to the new jeger unit, that as alot more details painted on them(used Greystreak figures as a painting guide)
The faces on the first unit and first jegers are very basic, while the ones on the last jeger and the single base of musketeers are much more detailed.

Also the single musketeer base is painted with foundry russian green, while the others were painted with more generic paints.

I painted the musketeers today, it was quite satesfing, after painting all those all green jegers, getting the white trousers ect.
Also I found what with the much darker green, the red facings and yellow shoulder strap stand out much more.
The problem is I'm out of russians, so that single musketeer base is gonna be lonely for a while.

A nice collection!

The newly painted musketeers look like they found something . . . disconcerting . . . on the other side of that road!
With Gen'l Custer Down in Mexico: Yes, one of the goals is to see how many times one can get him killed.
