OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

My first Warfare Miniatures Horse...
This regiment will be two squadrons strong when I finish it. I am hoping to get a couple more troopers painted tomorrow.

Nicely done, I like the vibrant colours. Saw your flags on Barry's game today they are really excellent.

Great to see pics of the splendid cavalry again.

I caught sight of them from the opposite side of the table today, due to the wonderful combination of the excellently posed sculpts and Barry's imaginative basing technique, they really looked like they were moving.
I get more tempted by your range each time I see them.

The skirmish rules that Clarence and I are bringing out might just be the vehicle... no need then to paint and bases dozens of battalions/regiments.
I am hoping to have some pics of forces up soon.

Yes, Dave, that's my second battalion of Dutch Guards. It only lacks a few models from being finished but I just couldn't wait to paint some of the cavalry when they arrived! I'm sort of working on both...

(Mostly) Finished! Still need to finish off the bases and add the flag...
You can see the second squadron assembled in the background (and the mostly finished second battalion of Dutch Guard - I'll post pics of them too later this week).
