18th Infantry Division, 3rd Army of the West

OK, so after two years I've finally given in to having a section of the FORUM specifically set up to discuss painting techniques, display examples, show your latest projects and chat about this vital part of the hobby. Manufacturers please feel free to post up your sculpts, ask questions about what the gamers are after and generally promote your work.. no charge! Painters, please also feel free to post up your work for comment and critique. I can't promise the unreserved adulation characteristic of some other fora but I would hope you'd get constructive and measured comment!

The foundry russians are the best, I'm painting perry plastic now, and while much better then the awful warlord, they are still clutterd and odd. Not clean and neat like the perry foundry.

Yes, that came as quite a shock to me too yesterday as I needed twelve more packs for my project. However, they do drop to £10 a pack for those able to collect at a show. Thankfully someone who lives just down the road is off to Tactica in a few weeks, saving me £30 :D

With great reluctance I have to tell You that this Project has to be shut down permanently because of unsolvable Financial Problems.

The 8 Battalions which have been painted for me by Phil Hart must be sold.
I sell them in single Battalions, Regiments, Line Brigades or one Division of 2 Brigades.

As it can be seen in this thread the Units are based, have Flags attached and are painted to the highest standard.

Price for each
Battalion of 32 Miniatures GBP 194
Regiment of 64 Miniatures GBP 380
Brigade of 128 Miniatures GBP 760 including a Brigade Command m/f
Division of 256 Miniatures GBP 1520 including 2 Brigade and 1 Division Command m/f
m/f=mounted or on Foot however you want
(the discount is that I don't add the price for the Miniatures and flags)

If You are interested PM me or send email to
saechsischer.generalstab@chello.at
or

Thank You for your Interest

In Memoriam of Phil Hart, who sadly passed away a Year ago(May 8th 2016), just after finishing the Russian Commands I will keep those Miniatures that I still have and those who are currently with Bob as a rememberance to him.

As soon as I am able to buy those Russians back I will do so and keep them and never to be sold again.

I learned about his passing only today when receiving an email from his wife.
