Only a single regiment from this division has seen action so far, but I can't wait to get them all into action :D

1er régiment de chevau-legers lanciers were formed by Imperial decree on 18 June 1811 from 1er régiment de dragons, then stationed in Iberia. It joined five other dragoon regiments that converted to lancers, along with two existing lancer regiments from the Vistula Legion and 30e régiment de chasseurs á cheval (formerly the Hamburg Dragoons).

The light horse lancers brought my 2015 project to a successful conclusion.

A French Heavy Cavalry Division c.1812 set-up for Black Powder rules: Eighty seven cavalrymen and four cannon with limbers - all 28mm metals by Perry Miniatures. Flags by GMB and MDF bases by Warbases.
