Very, very nice. I particularly like the way the light glints off the sabre and the standard's finial. :D

Ray, the All or Nothing charge is still just a one off event in the battle, after that the regiment resorts back to using independant squadrons.

Not really one of the periods I know as well some, but I thought regiments launched an attack with the lead squadron and then fed other squadrons into the melee as it progressed. I think that's how BLB is modeled anyway.

Ray,

that is the way the rules have ALWAYS worked. ALL or Nothing is a 'one hit' option never to be used again and only open to multi squadron units.

Generally squadrons operate seperately.. remember a BLB squadron is equivalent to 240 men which is as large as most English Regiments of Horse of the period. Squadrons were generally no bigger than 90 men at most. A BLB squadron is not an isolated unit it is the equivalent of 2-3 smallish squadrons working together.

cheers

It tells you in the rules Ray!

You average the number of models across all squadrons and check against that number ie

1st Squadron has 4 models
2nd Squadron has 5 models
3rd Squardon has 6 models

total 15 divided by 3 squadrons = 5 to equal or beat. I can't see how you would have worked out the Morale otherwise... what number would you have based the D6 test on? If it was the total of 3 squadrons = 15 then you'd always be able to roll less than 15 on a D6 until the unit had taken 10 casualties.
