A short battle report of a test game in anticipation of our campaign kicking off in the near future.

And very jolly it looks too! The Ottomans are on my list to do at some point. Like the DPM cloth...

The influence of Ottomans (and Swedes) on player-nations look as though they will be troublesome to those of us playing Western European armies. This test game showed me that my own nation (with Britain as our influence) will need to invest in more artillery.

The cloth is more of a "needs must" situation as those of us playing have very little in the way of terrain between us. We're each working on that in our own way, but the camouflage blanket was available and works well.

Hopefully, once I get the campaign rolling and can show off what we are doing, more folks will be inspired to do early 18th Century imagi-nations of their own.
