cavalry base sizes

gentelmen i'm about to start painting my jacobite cavalry. i was wonder what the better base size would be for 3 cavalry figures per base .60x60 or 70x50

Mark,

I based all my GNW Saxon Cavalry on 60x60 but it will depend on the Manufacturer as the Warfare Miniatures fit quite well, a bit staggered, on this base I doubt that the same would go for Front Rank or other huge Miniatures.

Base size is always a matter of security for your painted Minis so they dont get hurt.

I've used 70 x 70mm for my cavalry.

gunter what size of base's did you use for your dismounted dragoons.

60x60 too like my Mounted Cavalry and Infantry Bases.
In my case it is because of transportation and the boxes I use for them.
