Barry and I talked about this tonight. I'd like to hear from US/Canada residents to see how many people would be interested in attending such an event if we held one around Chesapeake, VA next year. In addition, I'd be interested in knowing how many people could provide troops, either 28mm or maybe even 15mm...

More can be transported for less in the BA hold Jim!

Interested? You bet, but timing is everything. In particular, I have several trips in the spring to the Five-Sided-Puzzle-Palace and would love to end one of those trips by pushing lead. My own collection is 25mm at 30:1, corps-sized, so o could possibly help there.

It does sound interesting!
I'd say 15mm would be easier than 25mm - it's not only a question of transporting figures, but also the space you need to put on a satisfactory battle.

I would definately be interested in attending, but would need more info on when before I commit myself. I may be also able to encourage a few other gamers in my area to attend. If you opt for 25/28mm I should be able to provide some figure's. Cheers! Joe

I'm the other way around - I can provide some troops in 15mm.

All depends on the timing of it but I would love to be there. I'd also paint up a unit or two to bring along as well.

Clarence, As you are aware, I live across the state from you and could put together multiple brigades of Aulstrian, Russian, and French in 28's. We should talk.....We could go big. Jeff

I could be persuaded as well. Unfortunately I own no Naps, however a mutual friend has loads in 15. I would prefer 28s though.

Ok, maybe not "TEXAS" big, but a couple divisions is not out of reach. Ed, Sorry to disappoint.... I know you were thinking big along those lines....but no worries.

Jeff, I thought of you when Barry and I started talking about doing this! We will need more troops than I can muster. Of course I have 28mm French and British, but it may be better to pick a scenario to use your Austrians and Russians. I'd rather play 28mm too if we can get enough units, but I have a division each of French and Austrians in 15mm too.
