That is a valuable piece of info Bill. Would be good to know who else is already booked in for the Friday night. Might also be important to get in quick for Saturday night those who have not done so already.

You may call it sarcasm........I, on the other hand, prefer to refer to it as a humorous observation!!! :-)

I'd check with the hotel chaps if you had already made a reservation just to be on the safe side.

That is a very good idea Bill. They are definitely not to be trusted on bookings!

The year's campagining season is drawing to a close but 2011 will definitely finish with a BANG and not a whimper!

My main task between now and eve of 9th December is to produce a scenario that is hotter than the Andalusian sun on a July afternoon.

New troops
New terrain
A few twists that cannot yet be revealed!

First things first: a quick roll call of those who have said they will be with us:

Toggy Bob
Jim Wallace
Tam Nish
Gerry D
Alan (Low Roller) Cuggy
Bill Paterson
Bill Robertson
Colin Napier
Ray 'Churchill' King
David I
Me

I think Gents you are all sorted with the hotel right?

Have I missed anyone?

I know there are a couple of maybes not listed above who have yet to confirm. Did anyone phone Hugh McErlean by any chance? He wanted to come to the next one but is not on the net. The charming septugenarian who crossed swords with Ade and Paul at the 15th June 1815 game?

Just to confirm, some of you are planning to bring your own troops...

Bob, Jim W (a brigade of brits I think), Bill P (The entire Portugeuse Army!). That is cool but don't worry, we have plenty of gear in addition to these 'fresh' contingents.

Last question for now.... Any preferences for sides? Express an interest and you'll get first dibs...

More later!

Oh and by the way...... PRIESTS are on the menu!!!
