Well done Barry,

this time my staffwork didnt reveal any weakspots

Only my lack of imagination likes to know what text is halfhidden beneath
the box where the Houshold Brigade is positioned (West Table, Page 13)

Günter, you have the eye of an Austrian (or perhaps a French) Eagle!!!! Adler/Aigle....

The text is merely the shadow effect created by Powerpoint when you transfer to pdf format. It comes from the text in the box above. If you look closely it says 'Brigade' from the box labelled Brunswick Brigade.

Thank you Chief of Staff Günter

This is all looking great Barry, and as one of the other guys has mentioned it would make a good supplement if we added in previous battles we have fought all produced to the same level.

Cheers

Austrian Eagle? Hm.. some locals say such a bird is short sightet, one-eyed and cant fly but maybe they are talking about our Eurofighter

As I dont want to embarrass my Emperor any further I think now would be a good time to go silent with my "staffwork"

Finally uploaded today the first part of the battle report which, because it will be picture heavy is likely to appear in 10 parts. Each of 1 Mb. For those that can bebothered looking, it is really quite nice and contains useful tips about the rules too.. :D

Barry,

I like it and the idea of serialising it is great but, with your writing skills it should be easy enough to finish each episode with a cliffhanger. This will be Wargaming's equivalent of Coronation Street or, for those of you old enough to remember, the Saturday Matinee.

Much the same problem as the rulebook . . . can't read the text for very long before I get distracted by the pretty pictures!

Keep 'em coming!

I'm really enjoying reading these even though I was there for the weekend. I can see how much effort you have put into producing these reports especially when you still have a busy time at work but I am looking forward to the rest, even though I know the results.
Cheers

Hi Barry,

Fantastic effort, as DOB says even though we were there its still good to see all the great photos but put into context.

Have to agree with you about the allies lack of activity after we captured La Half Saint being the crucial period of the whole battle, it was almost Jim like for a couple of turns!

Look forward to the rest of the report, its also helping my 72 year old father recover from a prolonged hospital stay,he can't wait to get back to the painting table again.

Cheers Bob
