I have been following Clarence's blog articles on the manufacturing of his terrain boards for the R2E game at Historicon. Let me be the first one to congratulate Clarence and Barry for winning several awards for their Historicon games.

The link will take you to a game review provided by Tyler, who played in several of the games and posted some wonderful piccies on his blog.
Since I couldn't attend Historicon, I was very glad to see these pictures of the game. It sounds like you picked up a legion of new followers.

I'm already thinking about next year. First major convention I've been at. Maybe I could contribute a few models to the game, if one is to be run?

Hey Tyler, maybe we should try to organize a game for one of the convention's here in Ontario. Let me know if your interested. Maybe we can spark some interest in our area. Cheers! Joe

Sounds like a good plan. Don't have the collection for it, unfortunately. Will be borrowing minis from my club to show them the game.
BTW, what conventions are there in Ontario other than Cangames and Game Summit?

Joe, where in Ontario are you located? I have about a division and a half of both French and British done so far.
Tyler, nice review man.
Cheers

Actually, the review is still coming. That was merely a quick and vague description of the game.

Hi Guys! Sorry for the delay in replying, family stuff. Tyler, their are two Cons that I can think of. Hotlead in Stratford and Migscon in Hamilton. I believe their is another Con in Toronto, but I think it is mainly SiFi and Fantasy. Both Hotlead and Migscon would be a bit of a drive, so it would have to be a well planned game with lots of eye candy to make it worth your while to travel that far. Darek, I'm located in Burlington. As for figure's my French army is still under construction. Currently I only have a few units completed, with 36 box's of plastic Perry's and a large pile of Perry lead figure's waiting to be painted. Hope to have my Sikh War armies finished shortly then get back on track with my Napoleonic's. I have two fellow gamers in the area who are currently working on Russian, French and Prussian units. Hope to have our first R2E game in the next few weeks. Cheers! Joe

Great series of reports Clarence and great photos too!
I hope the BLB ones are just as good and having seen all your previous work I'm sure they will be.
Cheers
