Aspern-Essling Granary

As I keep adding to my Austrian army, the thought of re-fighting the 1809 campaign is a recurring thought.

Lots of small scale encounters & 2 large scale battles, Aspern-Essling & Wagram.

A chance meeting in Antwerp last year with Jens from Najewitz models, has resulted in 1 of the iconic pieces of terrain for Aspern-Essling being built.

A definite weekender in the making.

Yup Paul, it's definitely on the "to do" list, but as I've only got about 25 infantry battalions & a couple of regts of cavalry so far, it's a way down the line yet.

Got plenty more stuff to paint, just a matter of time    .

The Austrians will be getting a run out in April at the 1 dayer, their 1st proper outing, so look forward to that.

I could borrow you some (26) unemployed   Saxon Battalions to "bolster" your forces together with a few Horsemen and guns
