Aspern - Essling Terrain

With my slight overkill on the Austrian army of the Napoleonic Wars still continuing, I thought I had better have some terrain for them to fight over.

I have been fascinated by the battle of Aspern-Essling from 1st reading about it, how Napoleon was talked into facing an army initially 7 times larger than his own, by defending 2 villages.

I have commissioned some buildings in a central European style & the 1st is now complete, so please enjoy.

Quite stunning in my opinion & very pleased with the results.

I saw these the other day Bob. Didn't know they were for you. They are absolutely superb . The shot through the close is very realistic .

Fantastic building Bob! Well done! My compliments to the "sculptor" :D

To ask "What took you so long?" would be a bad joke because I know who was the weak part in the adventure

Sorry for the lack of spirit from my side...of the Alpes!

Thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated, I'll pass it on to "The Builder".

Jim, that shot is very realistic I have to agree.

Gunter do not worry my friend, we will still refight Wagram with all those Saxons to face my Austrians, we will now have some nice buildings to put on the table too.

Work is about to start on the next batch, so watch this space.
