BUA securing and losing

Post by ebersteiner » Wed Jan 17, 2018 3:03 am

Greetings,

We are playing out segments of the rules to learn as these are new to us, we are working with 15mm based for empire rules.

In the BUA combat, La Haye Sainte a type 2C -
The attacker/assaulter wins the first turn, so inside the walls for round two. For the defender that lost this round, NO Resolve check is required yet, Correct?

The attacker/assaulter wins the second turn fight, so being a BUA class 2 they have secured the area.
What does this mean for the ? If we roll for a resolve check, "lost combat" it would be possible to continue fighting which means that the attacker has not secured the area. If the defender has to retreat/fall back in what condition would this be in?
Waver, Retreat, Rout?
Thank you,
