Hi barry

The Angus club got theirs from Stockline plastics in Dundee,as they are a branch of a Glasgow company, you should be able to find a branch around your way

Sure Gary.

Stockline Plastics Bob? Isn't that the factory that exploded in Maryhill last year or the year before killing all those people?

Hi Barry

yes it was, although I read yesterday that they now think it might not of been explosion but the top floor collapsing onto the ground floor due to excess stuff being stored up stairs. But with the same result. :(

What size planes are you planning to use this acrylic rod with, as depending on the thickness of the rod and the heights you plan to have the planes at ,this stuff bends as it isn't total rigid, with the 1/300 planes we used in our bomber game last year we originally wanted to use the Acryllic rod but the 7mm stuff started bending at about 18" with the planes on them. :? Also they normally sell it by the metre.

If you have difficulty getting some I could pick some up in Dundee and you could get it at the Glasgow show if you were going.
