Ainsty Robbery

While preparing for his weekend shows, Andy Lyon of Ainsty's van was robbed:
All my boxes of show stock are gone, all my display models and figures are gone and all my boxed pieces for on the bottom of the racks are gone. Two racks of blistered minis are gone too.
It has a substantial retail value plus is about a years worth of stock that he's built up.

If anyone sees boxed Ainsty stuff, Crooked Dice and Rogue Miniatures blisters being sold on the cheap let me (or Andy direct) know.

Ainsty are based in Lincolnshire: http://www.ainsty-castings.co.uk/

It's shocking. I never thought it would be something that was done in the wargames scene but i guess im wrong.

Ian, you are clearly a good soul with high moral standards but alas, this is much more frequent on the wargaming scene that you might imagine. Someone walked out of Carronade in Falkirk 2 years ago with an entire rack of blisters from Gripping Beast and no one noticed!

I have heard many tales over the years and of course, there have been numerous cases of people defrauding, doing a bunk, crashing companies and legging it without paying the debts, defaulting on painting commissions, pirating other people's castings, cannibalisation(of castings not wargamers  ), taking top dollar for painting and then subbing the work out to a troll with an airgun etc..

It's all happening out there.....
