Hi Jim,

no you're not doing anything wrong!

At the moment the Membership section is only accessible to myself and the site creator for update and admin purposes. It will at some point be brought online for everyone else. The site has the capability to run an online store, paypal and all that jazz but really I haven't even considered the commercial scope yet.

In the meantime, if you have subscribed to the Newsletter you'll get automatic e mails with FREEBIE updates such as rules etc.

If you are registered in the FORUM you can post(as obviously you are Jim!)

So currently you are not missing anything :D

Cheers

B

Triples

Post by j1mwallace » Thu Apr 07, 2005 12:50 am

I meant to ask. Did you get to Triples this year. If so did you see the ACW game using 40mm figures. Some of the nicest figures I have ever seen. Especially a Custer conversion ( From Robert E Lee !!!)
We had the usual "members" and too much alcoholic refreshment as usual.

I'm disappointed I missed the Glasgow show this year. I hear it was considerably better.

Those 40mm figures are very nice. I have been tempted more than once to dive in. I did buy 5 figures a couple of years ago when visiting the US at Historicon but have managed to restrain myself since.

Chris of Sash and Sabre is a nice guy and it is a shame that the figure price in the UK is much higher than the US. Over here they are 35 pounds for 20 and in the US 40 bucks for twenty.

The newer expanding AWI range is tempting particularly as I don't game this in any other scale.
