DRAGOONS

Post by barr7430 » Wed Aug 03, 2011 7:43 pm

A shot of the new dismounted dragoons can be found here:

http://www.leagueofaugsburg.com/gallery ... 7-371.html

I have painted these as a unit of Jacobite dragoons (the colours of whose uniforms are very difficult to come by). These will be used for my Army of King James in Ireland. As some Jacobite dragoon regiments were extremely large by contemporary standards it is likely to have 15 models in 3 stands.

These will be part of the 2nd wave of releases.

I was very impressed by these sculpts Stuart. Mixing them with a few poses from the Musketeer packs in a ragged firing line(which is what I am doing) looks very nice.
The unit is well underway. May post us some WiP shots if I get a chance.

Just noticed the new pics of the based dragoons, looking really great. Are they going to make an appearance tomorrow?
