Any guess as to how he did the "green sprig" with the view to making it "wargames resistant"? I have thought of a short length of brass wire imbedded into the hat and then building the sprig with some type of "green stuff". Would that ultimately be indestructible enough for gaming?

Michael, David told me it was Gamesworkshop brass etched,

watch out for more inspiration as MR Imrie and I get in gear for a project with very BIG units.. a la last years Napoleonic effort

Thanks, so I wonder how one would Google something as esoteric as that sort of accessory? Luckily we have online fora for such inspiration and assistance :wink:

I would use Miliput the fine stuff will hold almost as much detail & is much more wear resistant

There is a frame of brass leaves in the Citadel Basing Kits, plus lots of other neat accessories...
