Folks, there has been a bit of a clamour for a summer date at Lundin Links but now that we've gotten into gear to get it organized the clamour seems to have abated somewhat. We only have a limited window to do this game and I won't have time to find any other date this side of the year in Scotland so if you have been interested and want a crack please let me know asap as the hotel cannot hold the date indefinitely in high season

thanks

OK I think it is looking pretty much on.

Gerry, Bill P, Hugh, Andy T, Colin, David I, Toggy and Me definites. Waiting on Ian and possibly 2 others to confirm which would get us to a healthy 10-11. I will confirm will the hotel Monday evening but we'll need to get a bit of a financial commit from everyone pretty sharp as this is the hotel peak period and they are looking for solid commits from me.

cheers

Oh and then I'll get working on the scenario

Guys,

Here are the room rates

Twin room 2 x sharing= £75 per night (total)
Single room= £55(per night)

The food bill for Saturday evening meal and 2 lunches is £46 per head.

We'll do tings lisghtly differently this time please. If you all tell me what you want in terms of room arrangements we'll book it and pay for it centrally beforehand making it easier. I will wait to hear from you all about room stuff. I suggest you email me on wordtwister@hotmail.co.uk rather than splash your personal lives all over the forum.

The sooner the better is good and keeps us right with the hotel. Once all of that is sorted we can get the financials for the accommodation/food and the game itself all wrapped up together before the event.

Look forward to hearing from you

Very best

Barry

Napoleonics is fine by me :)

Had a quick discussion with Andy and 2 single rooms for Friday & Saturday nights was the preference. I'm sure Andy will confirm too.

I prefer their earlier stuff 8)

I'm no huge Napoleonics fan but I'm sure I'll manage. I'll just squint

Anyway, as Bill has confirmed, single for me please.

Happy with whatever scenario gets pitched at us. Always challenging and interesting :)

Oh, and I'm running a sweepstake on how many promotion boards Colin has to have over the weekend!!! :D :D :D

As Mr O'Brien is not able to attend does that mean we're safe from his "Special Events" or are they putting in an appearance from afar???

Cheers
