MARCH WEEKENDER 'FULLY BOOKED' - update

Post by Blucher » Wed Feb 22, 2012 1:47 pm

This is a replacement 'update' because of the 'hackers' recent intrusion...!

Just to confirm that the March 2012 Napoleonic Weekender is 'fully booked'......sorry to those of you that had enquired and downloaded 'booking forms' and did not get your booking in quick enough. We have always been upfront with everyone regarding the limited places at each event....and we can only work on a first come, first served basis.

As a reminder, the next and only definate Weekender (at present)- that is scheduled to be run this year, either North or South of the Border - is Derby, October 2012 ('WSS'/1700's Game). There is a chance (and it is only a 'chance' at this moment) that another weekender may be considered - possibly at 'Ludkins'. However, as we have already got major commitments this year with attending shows, magazine commitments, LoGW commitments as well as figure range commitments etc, etc AND we also need to sqeeze in our jobs (and even schedule in some time for our families!) - then no other game is certain.

So, if you were unlucky to miss out for March and want to be part of a fantastic weekend in October, using Barry's beautiful Warfare Miniatures range, then 'book early' to garantee your command.

PDF download in 'Warchest'- 'Republic to Empire' - 'page 4'.

or just drop me a line through the site......Blucher

Bill

We obviously know the names of the March attendees......however, although we do not directly subscribe to The Data Protection Act, without contacting each of the attendees to get their permission to divulge their names, can I politely decline your request (certainly at present).

It is not us being 'funny' about it but we would not want to upset anyone.

If time and 'permissions' allow, then I will post a list, but at the very latest you will know who's who once you arrive in the bar!!!!

Alternatively, you can probably deduce many of the attendees by the postings on the site.......

Hope this is ok for now?

Or determine the whereabouts of the Player by what they are wearing like Wellies, wooden shoes, Kilts, Shorts or special kind of Hoodies

You may call it sarcasm........I, on the other hand, prefer to refer to it as a humorous observation!!! :-)

Hi Adrian certainly understand and appreciate your position,I was trying in a round about fashion to enquire if I had secured a spot as I couldn't find any any confirmation that I had, our work emails archives had been deleted and things have been rather hectic for me at present and I just wanted to be sure.
best regards

Bill

Yes, I can confirm you are 'booked in'.

Sorry you did not get your confirmations, all were sent.

If you want to drop me a 'private message' with an alternative email address, then I can update your contact details and it will mean you definately get the 'info emails' that I am sending all attendees over the next 3 weeks. These emails will contain 'snippets and stuff...!!!'

Regards

Excellent news, more drinking till 3-4am will be the order of the day then :)

Given how work is going at the moment I'll definitely need it.

Sad thing you are not at Derby... but MAYBE I am this year in Scotland as my boss told me that it would suit him better if I take my holidays in October
