Chaps,

I am beginning to format the scenario for the November weekender and I know some of you are keen to command your own troops. Could I ask please that you let me know what you have in the way of 1688-1697 forces and use the following list as a guideline. No problem for hose who either have no troops or don't want to bring their own collections, we've got that covered!

English regular army units
English Militia or volunteer units
Irish Protestant Williamite units
Huguenot units
Dutch units
Danish units
Other Grand Alliance units
Scots or Anglo Dutch Brigade units
French units
Spanish units
Irish Jacobite units
Scots Jacobite units both Lowland and Highland

It is my plan to have some pre event 'campaigning' and once the OOBs have been finalized we'll allocate commanders, personalities and missions.

Cheers and thanks

B

Barry, I will get back to you when I get home tomorrow, roughly 3 Danish, 1 Dutch, 1, Huguenot, 5 English battalions, 4 Danish squadrons. 4 English squadrons plus a couple of dismounted dragoons,
Jacobite, 12 battalions, 5 or 6 squadrons of cavalry plus 4 stands of dismounted dragoons plus artillery, pontoons and 100 or so individual figures split 50/50 Williamite, Jacobite and a early Earl of Anytime in blue bonnets.

Hi,

I can bring the usual suspects; three battalions of Huguenot foot, a regiment of horse, a gun and assorted cannon fodder!

Best get a larger one then ! :D
You know we've discussed the need for a Transit van to Store/Transport figures. Although I'm not sure even the suspension on one of Dagenhams finest would hold up under the weight of our figures.
Just be grateful it's not a Punic/Successor game we're supplying to.
