Spring Weekender 2017

Post by toggy » Fri Dec 02, 2016 10:20 pm

After the success of the 1692 " Battle of Britain" weekender & the enthusiastic fervour to keep the campaign going, Barry & myself have selected a couple of dates for the next weekend event, which will again be held at the Cairndale Hotel, Dumfries & feature the continuation of Britains 2nd civil war.

The proposed weekends are the 31/03-02/04 or 07/04-09/04.

If you are interested in joining our merry band for a great weekend of gaming & banter please let us know & also if you have a preference for a particular weekend.

We'll keep the arrangements the same as November, booking accomodation directly with the hotel & paying for the game on the weekend.

So let us know if you're interested, the fate of Britain is still in your hands.

Barry & Bob

My,my Mark! That visit to the hairdresser certainly has worked wonders!

Love your hair do!

Dave, how many anniversaries does Gillian want?? Pick a day, that's it! Every other day is a wargaming day - there is a battle anniversary EVERY day!

Nice to hear that the un-nobility of Britain and Ireland may well be gathering once more

If the Royal French are allowed/invited to go on holiday to Grande Bretagne, we're pleased to join in the fun.

Merci d'avance

Gentlemen

I can confirm the date for the next installment of " Carry on Marlborough" is 31/03 - 02/04.

As per last year please book accomadation directly with the hotel

Cairndale Hotel
English St
Dumfries
DG1 2DF
Tel: 01387254111

The room rates are
£89.00 for a single
£65.00 for a twin

This rate includes all meals, plus a comedy event on Friday & cabaret on Saturday.

The cost for the game will be £100.00 payable on the weekend.

Guys please note that the hotel has several functions on over the weekend so may get booked up, so I suggest booking your room ASAP.

As always any questions just ask & look out for emails coming your way in early March.
