Russian Article on Swedish Officer Uniforms in GNW

Conflict between the Swedes and their various neighbours between 1670s and 1721. Including topics on Danes, Saxons, Saxon-Polish, Russians and anyone else the boys in blue were mixing it with!

That is a great find Dannie. Particularly useful for some of the GNW developments I have in mind. I am sure you noticed the preponderance of cuirasses!

Superb stuff! Just a pity it's not Russian uniforms.
It's quite interesting that a few of the figures appear to have fur linings to their uniforms, especially the ones that look as if they have leopard linings.

Agree Dave, would be nice to have a similar discourse on Russian uniforms...

Interesting all the same (let's us model the Swedish casualties correctly!) :lol: :lol: :lol:
