Swedish Officers wearing karpus hats?

One of my 15mm Swedish officers has a karpus. Was wondering whether this is historically accurate or was the karpus only used by NCOs and regulars?

My understanding is officers stuck to hats. In fact I read this again the other day, but can't recall the source, could have been a TMP thread.

I wouldn't be lead by what appears in miniature ranges; I've seen AWI British grenadier standard bearers too many times now.
Could the officer in karpus be a Swedish grenadier officer; they appear to have worn the mitre sometimes (though how often grenadiers wore that in the field is another question).

I agree I read that many Karpus wearing regiments were keen to move to tricorne despite the Karpus being more pragmatic as socially Tricornes were worn by "gentlemen" with this in mind I would very much doubt officers would wear Karpus, are you sure its not an NCO?

The manufacturer I got it from labels it as officer wearing karpus hat. I can only assume that this is just some artistic licence

I am sure it is not beyond the bounds possibility that on a cold day some officers might have wanted to keep their ears warm. One thing is for sure, there is no one living who can say you would be wrong to do it!

The officer looks kinda out of regulation on most things, he would fit right in, during the long winter in Russia/Ukraine.

In which case Ill probably be using this type just this one time, and keep using tricorn officers for the rest. I also have a karpus wearing cavalry officer with a feather in it. Have to leave that to the imagination I suppose.
