Anyone on the blog remember him, or at least the song? Well, I have a
variant: "Whatever happened to Dixon Miniatures?".
When I was rummaging through the miniatures I had saved from years ago, I found a Napoleonic Hussar unit they produced and wondered if they were still around.
Well it seems they are and are starting a range called: Age Beyond Reason" which is ready made for Donnybrook. So far it's just two figures, but what possibilities! They have other ranges in our era(s) too.
I never hear anyone talking about them and wondered why.

The original sculpting style was an acquired taste, but these look quite different.

The new range looks really interesting, I have just ordered the tavern brawl set, I also have some of the Ebor British in the post. I will post comparison picks when they arrive.

I too placed an order to see what they are like. I now remember that I
used to buy a lot of their figures and the Hussar unit I have now is beautifully cast.
Obviously the company has been sold, the line reduced, but I'm hoping that they're still nice figures.
Again it's worth looking over their line, as many of their figures fit our time period.
