Hi Friends,
I'm thinking about a new project: "Napoleon's Italian Campaign 1796/1797".
The beautiful figures of Eureka, Brigade Games and Victrix are useful for this period.
I've not decided for a set of Napolonic rules but I need rules where 1 unit rapresent 1 batallion.
I like stands with 4 or 6 figures in double ranks with NO casualties removal.
I know that French organization for this period was 8 coys of Fusiliers and 1 coy of Grenadiers so, I don't know in which way rapresent this in figures and stands…..what do you suggest???
I think use 4 to 6 units for each player to play a game in 3 or 4 hours in a night.
What Napoleonic rules do you suggest me, useful for my project?
Have you web address of any wargamers with same project in 28mm?
Since I consider myself a painter before a gamer I love use very well painted figures in impressive units so, please write me any suggestions useful for realize a game aesthetically perfect!!!
Thanks for help and best regards from Italy.
Andrea
