French fanions

Hi Gents,

Can anyone supply info regarding colour of fanions for line/ light infantry.

Bob,

As far as I know they were the same for light and line and were white for second battalions, red for third and blue for fourth.

6th Battalions had yellow fanions, 7th (I believe) violet and 8th Sky Blue.

The Warflag yahoo group has several example fanions for French infantry. They're often in the color mentioned, and embellishments like the regimental name and number, N's for Napoleon or grenades are often seen.

GMB has French fanions in 25mm for specific regiments as well. Has anybody seen their 84th Ligne 'Un contra dix' fanions?
