League Of Augsburg - Fighting Talk

One for the Russian Napoleonic experts. Have just bought some of the beautiful Victrix Chasseurs.Most are armed with muskets and I want to do a firing line unit. The command pack also contains four figures with what look like rifles of some kind. Would these be incorporated into the firing line (on the flanks?) or would they just be skirmishers?
