Sometimes the Urge Taketh Over

Post by Atheling » Fri May 13, 2011 6:54 am

No armour? No heraldry? No pole arm or pollaxe? What gives.......

I did really enjoy painting this little fella up so there may be many more on the way soon! Don't tell Mr O'Brien.... he'll only whisper rumours to you of me turning to the dark side .

I think so but it does seem a little bulkier than their usual British metals..... maybe it's from one of their Light Infantry commands that are sans pic on their site.

The mini was part of the Steve Dean forum Painting Swap. Pretty cool idea as you can learn quite a lot from looking at other folks painting. If you're as - as me that is   .

A good idea and one that I have been toying with. It would please my dad anyway!

Looking real nice. BTW... I think it might be a conversion... the Pelisse looks like it might have come from the Plastic French Hussars, but I might be mistaken.

Hi mate,

It was a single all metal piece....

Now, wasn't there a company doing riflemen that were a good match for Perry Miniatures somewhere???

Their name completely escapes me  .
