A nice unit Burkhard.

A shame about the Warlord landwehr but not a surprise as I think that these are a missed opportunity as we have discussed elsewhere before. Luckily there's still the Calpe versions.

THX guys!

Regarding plastic Cuirassiers... I do not think that this will happen too soon. The Perrys seem to lean towards earlier (1813) minis now, but I still doubt that they would do those. For one their current anouncements do not include them and there would be much more logical choices when it come to cavalry... like British heavies or Landwehr cavalry. I even doubt, that Calpe will do those soon. Quite a shame, but I think Elite and Foundry are the only choices right now and will remain so for a long time. :-(

Regarding missed chances... I think Warlords did so big time. I was far from happy when I opened the box last year, but the real letdown came when I painted them. If you have to improvise and fight all the time to make them look OK it is no joy and painting should be joy, not a chore!

Cheers,

Burkhard

After getting Calpe I'm sticking to them, they are easly the best, and in no way expencive for metals.

I'm not even temptet to buy any plastic prussians
