Great photos Bill

All this is motivating to start looking at my nap minis, although I am trying to stay focused on BTLB atm!

Relax? I don't think so. I hope you've taken my horses down the road with you this week.

Hope so, the 12th captured an eagle at Salamanca :)

Veteran elite as a minimum I'd say ;)

Well its been a while but I have finally gotten around to finishing the unit I started February
The 1/5th Northumberland, the first British unit from Pakenhams 3rd division for Salamanca. Only 6 more battalions to go ;) Although I have made a small start on the next one as I initially painted the drummer for the 5th in reverse colours only to discover the 5th had white coated drummers even though they had green facings. So I have now made a very small start on the 94th Scotch Brigade - the drummer! They had green facings also, and I cant find a reference to the drummers jacket anywhere, so it will be green :)

1/5th - 902 men all ranks, so 44 figures at 1:20

Hopefully it wont be a year till the next finished unit !

Well done, Bill, they look real great :D

Btw., will they work as a Presedential Palace Guard

Cracking unit, Bill! :D

I like the way you've chosen 'firing line' poses--a nice change from the legions in 'march attack'.

Thanks guys.

Gunter:
They should be just fine for a presidential guard, although ideally I'll need some marines too!

Bryce:
They are the first Perry plastics I've painted and they only come as a firing line, unlike the Victrix boxed set which is a mix of both. Initially I wasnt very keen on them but have gotten used to painting them - no doubt part of the reason it took so long to finish the unit. Only have another 3 boxes to get through
