Lord Uxbridge and ADC´s (Perry) finished base

Post by 14th Brooklyn » Sun Jul 29, 2012 10:05 am

I am starting a short series on WIP post on my blog, going through the paces of a command stand in 28mm (Perry Miniatures) depicting Lord Uxbridge and three ADC´s at Waterloo. For those interested... here is the first post (going through the reasoning of the colour choices for the horses, conversion work and so on):

Hi Günter,

I have been using it on all my Napoleonics minis, but only on fibrics (cloth of gold, cloth of silver, fringes, tassles, epaluettes, piping...). For real metal items (swords, barrels, helmets, cuirasses) I still use metalic paints.

Cheers,

Burkhard

Very interesting technique Burkhard.
