Bavarian Chevau-Leger Cavalry

I am currently painting the 2 Chevau-Leger regiments (Konig & Leiningen) which were part of Von Wrede's division in 1809
I was happy with the facing colours until I came across Johann Cantler pictures of the 2nd Regiment Konig Chevau-Leger.
The picture of the trumpetter is shown with a red jacket and green facings.
The trooper is shown with green jacket (as expected) however the facing colours are shown as violet.
Any comments or evidence of different colour schemes greatly appreciated.
