You maybe referring to the regt Slangenburg. I couldn't find the regt Schlangengerg, in the Sapherson booklet, "The Dutch Army of William III", But for Slangenburg, it gives you three choices. 1st from Tilroy-White coat, lined in red, 2nd from Gerpines-Red coat, lined red or thirdly from Wagner-Grey coat lined red, grey waiscoat, breeches & gaiters. Tin buttons & white hat lace, neckcloth. Drummers wore crimson coat lined in crimson, with orange breeches, silver buttons with white hat lace.

Personally I'd go with the third option, but that's the fun of the period, if you've already got a grey coat lined crisom unit, use one of the other descriptions. If you need info on a flag goto the Warflag website, where you can download it for free.

Hope this helps

Yes thats the one. Thanks.
The drummer's hat laced. Do you know if the rest wore laced hats as well?

I'm not sure, but white hat lace would seem the more likely.
